Privacy policy
At EDUMAPS, we respect your privacy. We only collect your name and email address to create and manage your account (via local registration or Google/Facebook SSO). For your privacy and safety, you are welcome to use a fantasy name or pseudonym.
We do not sell your data, nor do we use third-party tracking or analytics tools.
Usage data
To understand how the atlas is used and improve it, we measure usage anonymously and in aggregate, using our own means only. There are no third-party tools, no tracking cookies, and no persistent identifiers of any kind.
Specifically: the server records the pages and queries it serves, as any web server does, and the map sends a summary of a visit's actions (for example, how far into a lesson you got) once, as the tab closes. That summary carries a random identifier that exists only in that tab's memory and is gone when you close it: nothing is stored on your device, it cannot recognise you on a later visit, and it is never linked to your account if you have one.
We use it only in aggregate — which years, facts and lessons are consulted, and in
which language — never to follow an individual. Detailed records are kept for a
few days; only the totals remain. If you would rather not send that summary, add
?telemetryEnabled=0 to the map's address.
Minors (Under 13)
If you are under 13, you must have verifiable parental consent to use this site. Parents or guardians may request the review or deletion of a child's data at any time.
Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your account and data at any time. We comply with major global privacy standards, including the GDPR and Argentine Law 25.326.
